In conclusion of this module we did an assignment on Porters Five force model and Value chain models in context of Internet of Things which is a part of cloud computing.

For my learning artifact, I chose my assignment related to the project on Michael Porter's Five Force Model. I appreciated this project because I had briefly touched upon this topic in my previous class and this project gave me an opportunity to further touch on this subject in detail, especially in context of the concept of "Designing the Internet of Things" will be the threat of the new entrant to the existing model of things and create a threat of substitution. The video by Eli gave me an insight into the future of technology, which will be based on cloud/mobile computing because as shown there is a movement of ideas taking shape where technology with the use of internet will be used to bring every object around us alive. I used the information provided by Eli on the advancement of technology and applied Porters Five Force Model theory to the new intelligent/ smart products to complete my assignment.
